From August 31 to September 6, a Âé¶¹Çø delegation led by Vice President Professor Wu Kaijun paid official visits to universities in New Zealand and Australia including Massey University, the University of Queensland, the University of Melbourne, and Monash University. The trip aimed to strengthen international partnerships, push forward joint educational programmes, and promote the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities (GISU).
GU¡¯s delegation was warmly received by foreign universities¡¯ leaders and faculty and signed MoUs respectively with Massey University and with the University of Melbourne to officially initiate intercollegiate collaborations with the two flagship universities in Auckland, New Zealand and in Melbourne, Australia.
During the visit, GU¡¯s delegates had also visited campus facilities, research infrastructure and engaged in fruitful discussions with faculty and staff as well as representatives of relevant administration departments in partner universities to advance joint educational programmes and seek opportunities for joint research projects.
